 SPA TIP
 Foaming Bubbles?

Spa detergent Have you ever invited friends over to enjoy your spa and later find an abundance of foaming detergent in the spa? Dumping your spa and starting all over with clean water is one solution. There is a more simple way to eliminating the suds without dumping your spa.

*SOLUTION:

  1. Turn all pumps on to agitate detergent.
  2. Use a shop vac to lift the suds off the surface of the water. Place the vac hose near the filter basket while removing foaming detergent.
  3. Water level may lower as much as 4 inches while removing suds.
  4. Drop hose in the spa and refill to the bottom of the pillows.
  5. Replace micron depth filter.
  6. Check water chemistry and adjust accordingly.

*This solution may not be a guarantee as detergent levels vary. Owner, Craig Horning, has experienced success with this process. It only took 30 minutes to rectify the problem. His chemical adjustment showed success within 24 hours. Tub on!

 KATE'S KITCHEN
 Spicy Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds Ingredients
1 1/3 C pumpkin seeds, cleaned and rinsed
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Combine the pumpkin seeds with the garlic powder, salt, crushed red pepper, and black pepper on prepared baking sheet and toss to combine. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until seeds are crispy and light golden brown. Remove from the oven and stir with a spatula or wooden spoon to release any seeds that have stuck to the baking sheet, and cool completely before serving.

Roasted seeds will keep in an airtight storage container for up to 1 week.

Cook's Note: recipe may be scaled up proportionately.
