1) Self Supporting Hull
To ensure you have a lifetime of enjoyment with your spa, we start
by choosing from a wide selection of high gloss, marbled and textured cast
acrylics. This surface is tough and makes shell clean-up a breeze. Bonded
by our specially formulated
composite reinforcing process, Arctic Spas® are the strongest and most
durable hulls in the industry. We incorporate multiple layers throughout
the hull to increase structural integrity, which is one of the reasons
we offer a Lifetime Structural Warranty on all of our spa hulls.
2) Heatlock®
Each Arctic Spa comes with our Perimeter HeatLock® Insulation System,
designed to minimize heat loss and to maximize energy efficiency.
We apply high density urethane foam to the floor, cabinet walls and
the spa rim underside, creating an insulating dead air space. This form
of insulation has proven itself over and over in the harsh climates of
Northern Canada.
Our sturdy cedar construction, combined with the perimeter insulation,
provides an insulated protected air space for efficient performance of
the plumbing and electrical equipment. Incidental heat from the motors
is directed inward through the shell instead of outward, thereby decreasing
heating costs by capturing and transferring this ambient heat to the spa
water.
This captured heat acts with the Perimeter HeatLock System® to provide
a secure protection against freezing in sub-zero temperatures. If power
to your spa is interrupted, heat from the spa water slowly transfers to
the dead air space, protecting the plumbing and equipment from freeze-up.
Even at -40oC, equipment would be protected from freezing.
The Perimeter HeatLock System® allows easy access for servicing
and upgrading your spa, or for adding extra jets. It also acts as a sound
barrier, so you can enjoy your Arctic Spa without being disturbed by mechanical
noise from the pumps and motor.
3) Service Access
How
long do plan to own your spa? 20, 25 years? A spa is an investment, and
you want to ensure that you can maintain your investment. The best guarantee
that you will get many, many years of pleasure from your new spa is to
insure that there is complete access to all sides of the spa in the spa
cabinet. Arctic Spas® Total Access insures you won't ever get caught
having a problem that you cannot fix.
Remember, spas are mainly mechanical and although we never want a problem,
sometimes they do happen. Keeping this in mind, Arctic Spas® uses the
most advanced materials and equipment in our spas and we offer the most
comprehensive warranty available, up to 10 Years In-Home Parts and Labor.
Just remember, all warranties, even great ones, eventually end. The best
way to be covered is to insure that fixing a problem will be easy. We offer
8 Door Access and keep the spa shell free from spray foam that can make
it difficult and expensive to find and fix leaks. Usually, a customer can
fix the leak with a little silicone.
A lot of spas incorporate a full-foam design which makes it expensive
and difficult to merely find leaks, let alone repair them. And some of
the newest spas on the market have over 10 jets in 1 seat. How would you
find the 1 jet that was leaking without spending hours of time and money?
Let common sense prevail with Total Access from Arctic Spas®.
4) Forever
Floor®
Already renowned for our sturdy wood floor, standard on every Arctic
Spa, our engineers decided to raise the bar yet again by developing the
Forever Floor®. Composed of hand-rolled fiberglass composites,
this floor is impervious to moisture, pests, and time. It completely eliminates
the need for foundation materials like concrete, decking, or blocks! Just
set it on the ground, hook it up, fill and use...installation has never
been easier and your floor will last forever in any conditions. In addition,
your portable spa is now truly portable. If you move spa locations in your
yard or if you move across town, the foundation comes with you.
5) Castcore® Cover
Using the wrong cover can cost you thousands! Why? If it is not Castcore®,
it will probably be ruined by absorbing water over time. Like a soaked
sweater, these wet covers have reduced heat retention ability and fail
to insulate properly. In addition, they will get hard to handle and heavy
to lift. This extra weight will make it
much more likely to be damaged at the seams. In the manufacturing process
of most covers, other companies cut their foam inserts and attempt to reseal
them with plastic. This method has been tried and has failed for years!
Only Arctic Spas® Castcore® covers mould
the entire foam core around a steel reinforcement in the exact shape of
every spa - no cuts, no moisture, and no big electrical bills or the endless
high cost of replacement covers. As an extra feature, all Castcore®
covers feature an insulating baffle between the cover halves to prevent
heat loss along the seam. Choose Castcore® and save.
